Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a slant-top side door and a standard side door?
Slant-top dumpsters have an angled top surface that lets the side door open without the main lid lifting. Standard side doors are on vertical-walled containers. The hinge geometry and panel dimensions are different.
Can I retrofit a side door onto a container that doesn't have one?
In most cases yes, but it's a field-cut operation. PRT supplies the side-door; cutting the opening into the container side wall is a fabrication job. We can recommend qualified shops.
